In cooperation which the work group of the private hotels HOGA Offenbach

e present the exceptional experience week end:

Hessian cider week-end with a ride in the Bembel hot-air balloon |
planned course of events:
Friday:
own arrival up to ca. 6:30 p.m. at the hotel - accomodation in a nice double room
with all comfort - ca. 7:00 p.m. welcome drink at our house bar and a first present - transfer
to the Alte Wagnerei, the top class cider saloon and restaurant.
At 8:00 p.m. original hessian evening with hessian specialities and a cider (apple wine)
testing , only of the best. The landlord and barkeeper is telling at the time some interesting
stories and the history about cultivation and manufacture of the Stöffche, the hessian
word for cider. Going back to the hotel at about 11:00 p.m.
Saturday:
up to ca. 10:00 a.m. you begin the day with a good breakfast in our house own cafe -
enjoy the buffet with continental and american breakfast - for your disposal - afterwards
transfer to the Brückenmühle (translation: bridge mill) in Mühlheim - sight seeing
of one to the oldest grain mills in the greater surrounding. At 11:30 a.m. we like to make some
sporting practise by doing a leaded bicycle tour along the cider and fruit meadow line
- crossing by ferry boat the Main River and going to Bischofsheim. At 1:00 p.m. sight seeing
of the cider wine press company Stier with wine testing and lunch, later on
going back. The afternoon is for your own disposal and relaxing a little bit.
At ca. 5:00 p.m. top hightlight of the weekend. Transfer to Wetterau to
the take-off of the hot-air balloons.Ride in the unique german Bembel balloon
or one of its collegues. Duration approximately 3/4 hour with balloon driver baptism,
certificate and after landing a small diner.
Alternative, because the ballon riding is extremly dependant to the weather:
Transfer to Frankfurt on Main, round trip with the Äppelwoi-Express, a historic
street car on the tram tracks of the city. Afterwards visit in a traditional cider saloon
in Frankfurt or Offenbach. Return to the hotel at 10:00 p.m. in the evening and a nice finale of
the day at our bar.
Sunday:
up to 11:00 a.m. breakfast buffet - say good-bye by hand ovr a diploma,
which shows you now as a proved cider expert, further a little present,
afterwards departure. see you next time.
